“A tramp abroad”, by Mark Twain - a classic. Here we have a hotel arrangement with a special guided city tour not in the “awesome” terrible German language, as Mark Twain once said. Mark Twain visited our hotel in 1878 to watch a fencing match. On this visit he wrote extensively in his book "A tramp abroad".

Follow his tracks, visit the places Mark Twain visited in the 3 months of his stay in Heidelberg. Enjoy a special connoisseur of the city's history and sit down as he did at the blue tiled stove in the "Mensurstube". You can eat there much better than he once did...
